Poor relationships

The relationships we have with others play a key part in our emotional and mental well-being. Having strong, healthy relationships can help us feel loved and safe, and provide positive human connection.

This does not just apply to romantic partners, but also the relationships we build with our friends and family, even our work colleagues.

Negative relationships have the opposite effect. They can create low self-esteem, loneliness and can lead to mood disorders such as anxiety and depression.

How do I know if I need help?

Do you ever find yourself pushing people away before they get too close? Or have you become estranged from loved ones and cannot seem to rebuild the relationship you once had?

Have you had negative relationships in the past that you cannot move on from? Or have you lost trust and communication in a relationship?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you could benefit from relational therapy.
